The World Peace Pagoda stands on a forested ridge on the south side of Phewa Lake, at about 1,100 metres. It is one of the most peaceful places in Pokhara, with a view over the lake to the city and, on clear days, the Annapurna range behind.

This half-day outing starts with a wooden boat across the lake from Lakeside. From the far shore a stone path climbs through forest for about 45 minutes to the pagoda. After time at the top, walk back down and row back across the lake.
