Route shape

From a road-access trailhead, the route typically links the Chhomrong area with the valley towards Deurali, Machhapuchhre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, then returns down the valley.

Time and pace

A preliminary planning allowance is 8–12 days from Pokhara, adjusted to trailhead, fitness, acclimatisation and rest needs. Shortened online itineraries should not determine your personal pace.

Mountain conditions

High sections can face snow, avalanche hazards and poor weather. The guide and current local information determine whether to proceed. Keep flexibility for a delay or turn-around.

Lodges and logistics

Teahouses provide basic overnight services. Confirm meals, porters if needed, luggage storage and what happens if the itinerary changes.

Road support

Vehicle service is for the approach and return. The main trekking stages are on foot; we confirm reachable pickup points for your dates.

Documentation: Nepal Tourism Board lists revised TIMS and licensed-guide provisions for specified routes, including several Annapurna treks. Requirements depend on your itinerary and nationality; confirm them with the agency and relevant authority. Read NTB guidance. For Annapurna conservation permits, see NTNC permit information.
